Children's Test - Saturday the 21st of August 2010

Dear Mum’s and Dad’s

The next children’s test is on Saturday the 21^st of August 2010 (next Saturday).

Testing students must arrive at the dojo by 10:30am.

Test begins at 11:00am sharp and will finish by 12:30pm.

Family and friends are welcome to watch (photos ok but no flash please)

All Parents must fill in a testing form (available at office) for their child/children and pay testing fee by Friday the 20^th (parents please note payment is by cash only).

If you are unsure whether your child is testing please ask Sensei at the next practice session.

Easter Seminar Featured in Blitz Magazine

Dear Members,

The dojo is proud to announce the featuring of the Takeno and Nakagawa Sensei's Easter Seminar in Blitz Martial arts Magazine. The magazine features a fantastic write up of the Seminar By Kristine Cao and an interview with Takeno Sensei and Nakagawa Sensei. The dojo would like to thank Kristine for all her hard work in realising the article and organising the interview and translations. Special thanks also to Matthew Wings for his sensational photos featured in the article.

Takeno Sensei Class for Kids!

Dear Mums and Dads,

Takeno Sensei and Nakagawa Sensei (Sensei Peter's Teachers) will arrive in Melbourne this Easter weekend to teach an intensive three day seminar for students of Melbourne Yoshinkan Aikido. As part of the visit, a special class will be hed on Easter Monday (5th of April) for our junior members. The class is from 9:00am. To participate you must register your childs name at the office.

This is a fantastic opportunity to participate in an Aikido class under two word famous Aikido greats!

Easter Break

The dojo will be closed from Friday the 2nd of April until Tuesday the 13th of April.The dojo re-opens from Thursday the 15th of April. All classes resume as normal from this date.We hope you have a relaxing and safe easter break.

Christmas Schedule for kids

The dojo will close from December 22 (date of last class) to January 11 (date of first class) to give everyone a chance to rest and prepare for 2010.

From January 11 to February 1, Tuesday kids classes will not run. The full kids schedule will start back from February 2.
